Welcome to HomeBRIDGE! We're excited to begin the new school year with you. Below are the steps to help you complete the registration process smoothly.
✅ Step 1: Read the HomeBRIDGE Handbook
- Start with the first 15 pages—they answer most common questions.
- Please note: We’re currently updating the handbook for the 2025–2026 school year. Check back in June or July for updates.
✅ Step 2: Enroll Online
- Use this enrollment link to complete your HomeBRIDGE registration.
- Important: Enrolling in HomeBRIDGE means you plan to fully homeschool your student through our program.
- If your student will remain full-time at their neighborhood school and only take 1–2 supplemental classes, do not register here. Instead, please contact your school counselor to arrange enrollment in those courses.
✅ Step 3: New to the Juneau School District?
- If your student is new to the Juneau School District, you must also complete the JSD registration forms.
- These are also available in the FORMS section on our website.
✅ Step 4: Submit Your Forms
Preferred method:
- Email your completed forms to us in PDF format (no photos, all pages in one file if possible).

- Search YouTube for instructions based on your phone type—it's easy and a great skill to have!
Other submission options:
- Fax: (907) 523-1829
- Drop-off: At the HomeBRIDGE office
- Mail: Use the standard JSD mailing address (not our physical office address)
✅ Step 5: Confirmation & Advisory Teacher Assignment
- Once your forms are received, we’ll email a confirmation.
- You’ll be assigned an Advisory Teacher, who will contact you to schedule your initial meeting and begin creating your student’s learning plan.
Haven’t heard from us after a few days? Feel free to reach out! (The 2025-2026 registration forms will be reviewed once we figure out staffing for the SY 25-26)
✅ Step 6: Learning Plan for K–8 Students
- You and your Advisory Teacher will create an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP).
- You can come prepared with a draft or build the plan together.
- Know what classes or subjects your student wants to study.
Want to take classes at a neighborhood school?
- Grades K–5: Up to 90 minutes per day
- Grades 6–8: Up to 2 classes for full allotment, or 3 classes with a 25% reduction in allotment
- Important: Contact the neighborhood school directly to sign up
Once your ILP is signed and submitted, your allotment funds become available.
Remember, your ILP can be updated throughout the year—it’s a flexible plan.
✅ Step 7: Learning Plan for High School Students
- Meetings usually include your neighborhood high school counselor.
- Together, you'll complete a High School Course Form outlining:
- Classes taken at the neighborhood school (up to 2 for full allotment, or 3 for 75%)
- Courses taken through HomeBRIDGE
Once the form is submitted, your funds will be available for use.
✅ Step 8: Stay Engaged
As a parent, your role includes:
- Supporting your student’s learning
- Meeting deadlines for:
- Quarterly reports
- Grades & progress updates
- Reimbursement requests
- Reading our weekly newsletter to stay informed and avoid missing important updates
💰 Allotment Amounts
Students who are registered, have had their meeting, and are officially transferred to HomeBRIDGE by October 25 will receive:
- $2,600 for grades K–8
- $3,000 for high school students
